KSIAZKA I WIEDZA - Warsaw Nancy Drew, dziewczyna detektyw
The Polish books are translations of Nancy Drew Files titles and reproduce the American artwork on the covers. Our heroine is still called Nancy Drew, and goes by the moniker "Dziewczyna Detektyw" which I think means "girl detective." The two titles listed below were definitely published, but it is unclear whether any other books from the series were translated - there are no book lists in either specimen. Unfortunately, I could not accurately reproduce some of the letters from the Polish alphabet, but you can see in the picture to the right that the "e" in "kregu" and the "l" in "zla" are slightly different. Translated by Marta Staszewska |
