NANCY DREW NOTEBOOKS

NANCY DREW, GIRL DETECTIVE The revamped, Nancy-as-first-person series Girl Detective which originated in the US in 2004 was also brought to Swedish audiences. All new cover art was created rather than reusing the US covers. Although the Swedish versions appear quite lifelike, they are painted covers by Andreas Bennwick.  I think I quite prefer them to the blurry, absentee illustrations on the US covers!  Several of these stories were released on CD as books on tape.

NANCY DREW & HARDY BOYS SUPERMYSTERIES

This series is entitled "Kitty och broderna Hardy" which translates to Nancy and the brothers Hardy (the Hardys themselves are also very popular with the Swedish boys and many of their books are also available in translation). The supermysteries must not have been quite as successful as other releases since only 4 titles were produced and the series ended in 1992.
